About Greenfoot Energy Solutions – Our Mission & Vision

Greenfoot Energy Solutions was established in 2014 by a group of energy experts dedicated to improving energy efficiency in Atlantic Canada. After operating an energy auditing company for eight years and conducting over 30,000 energy assessments, they recognized that simply offering recommendations for energy efficiency upgrades was insufficient.

The industry's challenge was that most contractors provided only one or two services, often leading to a "one-size-fits-all" approach for homeowners. This raised concerns about the trustworthiness of contractors' recommendations, as they were limited to just one solution.

True unbiased advice on energy efficiency could only be provided by a company offering a full range of home upgrades, removing any potential conflicts of interest. This realization led to the creation of Greenfoot, with the goal of becoming a comprehensive "One-Stop Shop" and the industry leader in whole-home energy solutions.

Today, Greenfoot employs over 1000 team members across Canada and is poised to expand further throughout Canada and the United States.
